How it works #

Ethvex first sends the member a DM with the server name and the reason, then bans them. If their DMs are closed the ban still goes through, you just will not get a DM confirmation.

Good to know #

  • You can ban people who are not in the server by using their user ID. Great for known raiders.
  • If the person is already banned, Ethvex tells you and shows the original ban reason.
  • Your highest role and the Ethvex role must both be above the member's highest role. Nobody can target the server owner, themselves or Ethvex.
  • To undo a ban, use Unban.

Examples #

/ban user:@Nova reason:Advertising in DMs
Bans Nova and sends them the reason.
%ban @Nova -d 7 Raiding the server
Bans Nova and wipes their last 7 days of messages.
%b 740117727322046538 -nodm Alt account
Bans someone by ID without sending a DM. Works even if they already left.
