Ethvex Reaction Roles
Let members pick their own roles with reactions, buttons or dropdown menus.

Groups #
Reaction roles are organised in groups. Each group is one message with a set of roles on it, like "Pick your colour" or "Pick your pronouns". Press New Group to start one.
Styles #

| Button (Pro) | Click a button. Buttons can have a label, emoji and colour. |
| Select (Pro) | Choose from a dropdown. You can set the placeholder text and how many options can be picked. |
Modes #
The mode decides what happens when someone picks a role. All five modes are available on Pro.

| Normal | Pick to get the role, pick again to remove it. | Interest and ping roles |
| Unique | Only one role from the group at a time. Picking a new one swaps it. | Colour roles, regions |
| Verify | Gives the role but never takes it away. | Verification and rules agreement |
| Drop | Only removes the role. Handy for letting people opt out. | Removing a default role |
| Binding | Once you have it, it is yours. It cannot be removed through the panel. | Permanent choices |
Building a group #
Name it and choose a style and mode
Names must be unique within your server.
Add entries
Each entry links an emoji or label to a role. Select menus can also show a description.
Design the message
Choose Plain Text, Embed or Container, then set the title, body, footer, colour, image and thumbnail.
Set the target
Pick the channel. Leave the message ID empty to post a new message, or paste an existing message ID to attach the roles to it.
Save
Press Save and then Apply to Message to publish it.
Guards #
- Max roles limits how many roles from the group one member can hold. 0 means unlimited.
- Denied roles stop members with certain roles from using the panel at all.
- DM on fail tells the member privately why they could not get a role.
The Ethvex role must be above every role in the group, or it will not be able to give them out.
